This week we indulged in some fun with St. Patrick's Day! We made a leprechaun headband, painted rainbows for our pots of gold and made a trap to try and catch a leprechaun! We are sure that you all heard that sneaky leprechaun made our toilet water AND milk green!! The children worked very hard decorating our trap to try and catch him! Sadly, we weren't able to...but he did leave us some cookies as a special treat! We were at it again with our number recognition activities! For our over the rainbow game the children had to match the pot of gold with the rainbow that had the corresponding number on it! We also used our colorful rainbows to do some color sorting! When we return from Spring Break we will be spending two weeks learning about dinosaurs! As part of our fun we will be hunting for “dinosaur” eggs on Friday, April 2nd. We are asking that you send in 1 dozen filled plastic eggs. The eggs can be filled with whatever you would like…stickers, tattoos, trinkets, candy, etc. Please make sure the candy is individually wrapped, no loose jelly beans or things of that nature. If the eggs do not close tightly, we would appreciate you using some tape to help keep them closed. Please put them into a bag labeled with your child’s name and bring in by Wednesday, March 31st! If your child does not attend school on Friday's they are welcome to join us for the hunt. We will supply the bags for the hunt! Little Scouts will be closed for Spring Break: Friday, March 19th-Friday, March 26th!
We will see you all on Monday, March 29th for the start of a roaring good time!!
