The wheels on the bus go round and round... The bus ride of course was a huge hit! Perhaps the best part for some of the children:) We had an amazing, albeit very muddy, field trip to Heller Nature Center in Highland Park. We got to play in their very cool nature play space called Wander Woods, the kids really had a blast! Just in case you are looking for something a little different to do this summer....it is a neat place that is open to the public dawn-dusk daily! Just prepare for some mess....it is nestled in the trees and encourages mud play! After we got muddy, we took a nature walk and used our senses...we listened for nature sounds, we picked leaves and flowers, we smelled what we picked, we looked for a rainbow of colors in the world around us...it was pretty awesome! Thank you so much to all of our chaperones; those who came and those who were so understanding when it go canceled...we truly appreciate your help! We have LOTS of pics for you to see just how much fun was had! So many in fact we couldn't even post them all! A special thanks to Lola's mom who took most of these amazing pictures of your children! Next week we have some fun things planed!
