Happy Birthday Stella! Dr. Seuss was on the loose this week! We had such fun learning about rhyming words and reading his books! We read some old favorites, and created some really cute art projects to go with them. We used his stories to talk about rhyming words. We love to rhyme, and just like Dr. Seuss, our rhyming words are not always "real" words, but they rhyme! We worked on counting during center time by identifying the number and counting fish to go in the bowl. We built towers and tried to see if we could balance our "fox on a box". Our green eggs and ham activity had the children matching upper case letters. Even if they don't recognize the letter, we encouraged them to match the "shape" of the letter... I do not like green eggs and ham, I do not like them Sam-I-am! Little Scouts is closed Monday, March 2nd.
