It was a short, but busy, science-y week here in our classroom! Our circle time experiments had the children super excited! We talked about concepts like sink or float, magnetic objects, and predictions/conclusions. Below you can see the children playing with wands to see which objects were magnetic! Skittles Experiment...all you need for this colorful fun is skittles and some warm water! It was pretty cool! Gummy Bear Experiment... The children were super excited to see what our Gummie Bears were going to look like after spending 24 hours in 4 different liquids. Check out the results in the bottom right corner. This week we dabbled in some process art. We used liquid watercolors and droppers to watch what happens when we dropped a tiny bit of color onto salt paintings....it was pretty cool!! Little Scouts will be closed Monday, March 1st for a teacher in-service day.
